Our Flock

As hand-spinners our goal is to achieve superb fleece in our breeding program. We feel confident that our fleeces quality is derived from the additional vitamins and minerals, that we add to our flocks daily diet.
All of our fleeces are covered, professionally shorn, and heavely skirted and tagged from debri.

Jacob Sheep are a primaitive sheep with historical roots dating back
to the Old Testement story of Jacob and Labon. Pictorial evidence shows that they resided in what is now modern day Syria. Carrying a Polycerate gene they can have two, four or
six horns. Jacob Sheep generally lamb without assistance. They are very maturnal and have distinct individual personalities. Their fleece is wonderful to spin, even for the novice hand spinner. Because of their primitive sructure, you can easily keep six
Jacobs on one acre of property.

Adoptions are currently available!

Wethers make a wonderful choice when looking for consistamt fleece quality.

Donnegal

When your looking for breedable traits in a ram, you pick certain dominant qualities to be genetically passed onto their
off-spring.
Often times those that I find to be the most physically un-attractive at birth are those that posses a far superior fleece.
Generally, they are not what I would look for in a flock sire.
When your interests are stricltly for fleece, your focus can be solely on fleece. Donnegal met our criteria.
Superb, top quality, hand-spinner's fleece.

A darker, rich black fleece with a coarser handle. Wonderful for spinning and knitting a pair of socks.
