Rise 'N' Shine Heirloom Wool Batted Comforters

Our heirloom wool batted comforters are made from our Jacob Sheep that reside at
Rise 'N' Shine Farm. Your comforter will be covered with a breathable cotton cover and them hand quilted to secure the batting. They can either be used as is or covered with a duvette.You will find yourself cool in the summer and warm in the winter. There is truly nothing like sleeping uder a Rise 'N' Shine comforter.

Kromski Minstrel Spinning Wheel

This beautiful gently used spinning wheel, includes
One pound of professionally milled Jacob roving

The Minstrel is made of European alder and birch with a rich mahogany finish. Its antique look makes the perfect wheel for reenactors.

This beautiful, compact, portable wheel features a wide, steady base for the double treadle operation and the wheel, which is larger than many upright wheels - 18". The wheel is easy to mount on the two support posts. The third post will accommodate an optional distaff. One of our most popular castle-type wheels.

The Minstrel has stronger, bolder lines and a larger base to accommodate the larger wheel diameter and the double treadles. It is a double drive wheel but comes standard with Scotch tension set-up if your prefer the single drive feel. A threading hook and extra whorl are conveniently stored up front for easy access.The bobbins will hold a full 4 oz. package of yarn and they fit on all the other Kromski wheels if you start a collection.

After we skirt and tag our fleeces from all debris, we send it to the mill
to be washed and professionally carded into this lovely roving.

Llama Roving

Our Llama and Alpaca fleecs are professionally shorn and professionally milled. We seperate our fleeces into barrel, neck, and leg. This proscess is to insure the quaility of your fleece for your desired fiber projects.
