come in a variety of styles, shapes & colors.
African Bolgatanga Baskets derive their name from the local artists in the small village of Northern Ghana called Bolgatanga.
These baskets have been hand woven for decades and provide the livelihood for local families.
Bolgatanga Baskets are made from local grass known as Kinkanhe. Some of the grass is dyed with vibrant colors and woven into intricate patterns.
All of our baskets are fair trade.
