Our Seventh Annual Shearing Day was a success.
Spectators watched our professionl shearer Nathan Good shear our flock of Jacob Sheep.
We all enjoyed a meal that followed consisting of lamb stew, chicken soup, freshly ground wheat biscuits and a variety of deserts. Everyone enjoyed the fellowhship and opportunity to make a days work a whole lot of fun.
Those who adopted sheep from Rise 'N' Shine Farm were able to take their fleece home after the event. All those who were not able to participate, we will be shipping your fleece UPS this coming week.
We hope you enjoyed your visit as much as we enjoyed getting to meet all of you.
We look forward to continuing to provide you with quality fleece for your spinning, weaving,
and fiber related projects.
We have expanded our Adopt a Fleece to Llamas and Alpaca's.
